Nils: Of death and anger. And courage.

by Melanie Garanin

“No one can free the other from their suffering; but he can encourage him to bear the suffering. ”Selma Lagerlöf
That is exactly what the children's book illustrator Melanie Garanin does with this book. After the tragic death of her youngest son, she reacted in her own way: she drew. The result is a graphic novel in which there is just as much room for your despair and anger as for beautiful memories and humor, a book that doesn't gloss over anything and yet gives us courage.

Fully understand the death of a loved one
New approaches to coping with grief and the higher meaning behind the different ones
strokes of fate

by Kathleen Baumgart

Sometimes life, with all its ups and downs, offers us the best answers to our questions. Sometimes, however, it takes a heavy blow of fate to see things more clearly.

In October 2018 I received a phone call that would completely destroy my life from one second to the next. My eldest son took his own life when he was just 13, so I initially plunged into a swamp of guilt, unspeakable pain, anger, and crippling grief.

But I realized relatively quickly that the background to suicide is very different from what we can perceive with our "being human". Behind every painful experience there is a much higher meaning, which can ultimately bring healing and growth to our soul. If only we let it...

Since then I have been on an extraordinary journey, which is still paved with hurdles. But it's still the most beautiful journey of all, because it brings me closer and closer to my son and also allows my understanding of life and death to take on completely different dimensions.

It is a spiritual journey that led me, among other things, to a medium, to an ancestral constellation, a palm leaf reading and to the angel numbers. I would like you to be part of this journey, because not only the healing, but also the immense knowledge behind it is of inestimable value. The prenatal life or soul plans are included here, because they form the basis for your understanding and thus for your healing.

The book also contains various exercises and methods, which can offer you suggestions and new impulses as well as support on your way.

From GRAY to COLORED
How to find your way back to life after the death of your child

by Ulla and Robert Gschwandtner

Ulla and Robert Gschwandtner experience every parent's nightmare. You lose your child. An abyss of guilt, shame, accusations, powerlessness and speechlessness opens up. Life is a gray on grey. A burden. A functioning.

How do you live on after such a loss? How do you manage as a person, as a couple and as a family,
not break it?

In this book, Ulla and Robert talk about their grief and their way back to life from the perspective of mother and father, as a couple and as grief counselors. Honest, approachable, touching. At the same time, this book is a grief guide with valuable knowledge about phases of grief, symptoms of grief, exercises and comforters as well as the experiences of other affected parents, siblings and people from the environment.
Ulla and Robert feel their daughter Emilia every day and they are convinced: mourning is labor of love, is a deep affirmation of life.

"In this book, Ulla and Robert Gschwandtner impressively tell of their experiences and make them accessible to orphaned parents and their support in a valuable way.
